‘Pink Poppet’ is a very compact form of W. florida, bred for vigor, floriferousness, hardiness, and foliage density. The late spring/early summer blooms smother the plant in pink flowers. Compact size and naturally rounded shape makes it ideal for a specimen container plant, low hedges, mass plantings and even in a perennial border or a garden specimen. This uniquely floriferous Weigela displays its numerous blooms on the extremities of the branches, not hidden amongst the foliage. A true impulse purchase at retail, and has been known to fly off the shelf.
